Matthias Maurer leads the Moon training facility of DLR and ESA, opened in Cologne a few days ago. He is now on stage to speak about the training for the coming moon missions with Artemis 3 and beyond.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/li>

Since 2007, the ESA has a planetary defence office, to work on an asteroid defence system. This was first to expensive for ESA, but as NASA joint the work and costs have been split between both space agencies. <\/p>\n<\/div><\/li>

She speaks about Apophis, the asteroid that will pass Earth at it\u2018s closest approach on April 13, 2029. The Outer Space Office works with all space agencies around the world to protect Earth.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/li>
