Spectrum was in the air for round about 18 seconds until it exploded. This remembers to the first rocket launches of Space X back in the time. It is however a great step forward for Europe's private commercial space flight. The rocket has turned around and fall down and exploded. We have a lift off of Spectrum. less than last minute We are 3 minutes to launch now Today's launch happens from the Andøya Spaceport in Norway. Andøya Space offers the possibility to conduct a launch on unmanned territory. Spectrum is a 2 stage orbital launch vehicle. It can bring 1000kg payload to low earth orbit. the rocket is using a unique propellant. It's liquid oxygen and liquid Butane. All parts have been produced in-house and printed by 3D-print. The test flight today is about to collect more data to improve the rocket. Aim is a series production of rockets. Launch vehicle and everything behind the Spectrum project was developed by Isar Aerospace. Isar Aerospace is the first fully private funded new space company in Europe.
