You can access your Netcup webspace with the WinSCP tool.

What is needed:
The user names or FTP users stored in the Netcup administration menu, the password and server address of the hosting package are required.

Anleitung:

1. Open WinSCP
2. Click on „new connection destination“ in WinSCP
3. We select „SFTP“ as the transfer protocol
4. We enter the server address of the hosting package as the host name – normally xxxxx.xxxxxx.netcup.net
5. The port number is 22.
6. Username is the FTP user created in the netcup administration menu
7. Password is the password of the FTP user
8. This can be saved, it is recommended not to save the password, as it is written in plain text in WinSCP.ini
9. You can give the connection a name.
10. Now click on „Login„.
11. WinSCP now connects to the web space.
12. If the password was not saved in the connection, you must now log in with the password
